Dr. Christopher G. Stuzynski is proud to provide quality dental services to patients of all ages. We take a proactive approach to help our patients achieve and maintain a healthy smile.

Regular dental checkups and cleanings help prevent painful issues in the future, such as:

  • Gum recession and disease
  • Tooth decay/cavities
  • Bone loss
  • Bad breath

We recommend scheduling a regular dental cleaning at least once every six months to help you maintain optimal oral health.

Here’s what you can expect during your check-up at our Cockeysville, MD office:

Teeth Cleaning

Have you noticed any yellow stains or discoloration on or in between your teeth?

This is most commonly caused by a buildup of plaque and tartar.

While brushing and flossing daily do a great job removing most of the plaque, it is not enough to remove the remnants left behind that harden (tartar) over time.

If left unchecked, this will lead to painful issues in the future, like cavities, gum disease and even bone loss.

Our talented hygienist is trained to gently and effectively remove this buildup, helping you maintain a bright, healthy smile.

Prevention

After your cleaning, our hygienist will take the time to review your at-home care routine. Specific recommendations to help you maintain healthy teeth and gums.

Dental Exam

After your cleaning, Dr. Stuzynski will evaluate your smile’s health by checking your gums, teeth, and surrounding tissues. This will include a very thorough head and neck cancer screening.

If diagnostic images, such as x-rays, were taken during your exam, Dr. Stuzynski will review these images with you.

Treatment Recommendations

If any issues are identified during your exam, Dr. Stuzynski will discuss your treatment options with you, which may include additional procedures or imaging to restore your oral health.
